Influenced by the Russian school of Lev Oborin and the German tradition of Wilhelm Kempff, and winner of Leonard Bernstein Award in 2014, Christopher Park has performed internationally with major orchestras and artists, recording for labels such as Deutsche Grammophon. Since 2021, he has been professor at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo.
He is a founding member of the Trio di Parma (1990), has performed at major venues such as Wigmore Hall and Carnegie Hall, collaborating with artists like Bruno Giuranna and appearing as a soloist under conductors including Hubert Soudant. He is currently the professor in charge of the exclusive chamber music specialization course at the world-renowned Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia.
Principal Clarinetist of the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra and former principal clarinetist of the Malmö Symphony Orchestra, collaborating with leading European ensembles. He performs as a soloist with orchestras such as La Toscanini and he teaches masterclasses in Italy and Scandinavia.
